About HG Outdoors Co.

My freshman year of college I founded HG Outdoors Co. in my dorm room at West Texas A&M University with a simple goal. To create hunting gear and apparel that I would be proud to use myself. As someone who has spent countless hours in the woods, duck blinds, and on the water, I know firsthand how important dependable equipment is. My vision has always been to build products that are durable, practical, and designed for outdoorsmen who demand gear they can trust.

My passion for the outdoors started at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. I was raised bow hunting, duck hunting, fishing, and working on my family ranch. Those experiences shaped who I am today. Early mornings chasing waterfowl, long sits in the tree stand, and days spent on the water taught me patience, discipline, and an appreciation for the traditions that make the outdoor lifestyle so special. They also taught me the value of quality gear, and equipment that performs when conditions are tough and remains reliable season after season.

Through those experiences, I developed a deep respect not only for hunting and fishing but also for the land, wildlife, and natural resources that make them possible. I believe that as hunters and anglers, we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the land and to help preserve these opportunities for future generations. Conservation, ethical hunting practices, and respect for the outdoors are values that guide both my personal life and this company.
